Functioning Electrocardiogram Circuit (Heart Monitor)
Developed to gain experience with Operational Amplifiers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators.
The ECG circuit was built from scratch utilizing an Instrumentation Amplifier, 1st Order High Pass Filter, and 2nd order Low Pass Filter.
Takes the raw signal from the patient (1 millivolt), Amplifies it to 1 volt, removes noise and DC offsets.
Experimented with Varying Cutoff Frequencies and Amounts of Gain
For the fun of it, I took what I had learned and developed a PCB of the circuit.
